Dan Stone signed for the club in early 2007 along with Bernie "Alright Chief" Boyle both were brought to the club by head scout Niall O'Rourke. Dan Stone only had a couple of appearances in the Title winning 2007 season as he was struggling with a rather hectic caseload. Dan Stone is Shetland's number one private investigator and can regularly be seen driving around Lerwick in his red Ferrari convertible wearing load Hawaiian shirts. Dan Stone played another 12 times in the 08 & 09 seasons with a standout performance against PL lerwick in 09. A display made all the more impressive by the fact he had run 10k earlier in the day. Dan Stone has hung up his boots for the 2010 season to concentrate on his long distance running as well as solving murder mysteries and spying on cheating husbands!!

INTERESTING FACT: Dan Stone was the reason Andy Johnson left Crystal Palace. Lifelong Palace fan dan met Mr Johnson at the Crystal palace supporters doo and when asked about his opinion on the England international Dan told him he'd already missed a World Cup after staying with Palace and thought he should move on for his own good.
GREATEST FOOTBALL ACHEIVMENT: A Tizers reserve match against a Malakoff was the scene for Dan Stone's greatest performance as Dan scored one, created one and rattled a post.
