The League Cup competition went well with the team only losing one game on route to the final. There they met Cosmos FC who edged a close match to controversally win 1-0. The controversy surrounded an incident with the match still at 0-0. Wrultizers striker Steven Glaister sprung the offside and seemed to be clear on goal before being hauled to the ground. Cosmos players held their breath expecting a red card however after consulting with his linesman (Who also happened to be a Cosmos player) the ref amazingly gave a freekick the other way. What was more surprising however was the manner the Tizers took the loss. As within minutes the stereo was playing and the Bubby was everywhere. Infact the Cosmos even sent someone through to check if we knew we had lost.
We lost 3-2 in the quarter final of the Association Cup. At 3-1 down the game looked dead and buried until Boydie hit a shot on the volley from 30 yards which screamed into the top corner. Try as we did however despite hitting the woodwork twice we couldn't find the equaliser.
Our hard work finally paid off though in the League as we were crowned champions in style after demolishing 2nd place Cosmos in the Title decider 4-0.
The Season ended with a frightfully overly trip to orkney with scary amounts of drunkeness, nudity, congas, and human pyramids.
The thrills and spills of the Premier League are back and, to celebrate, we are giving away three volumes of Premier League Classic Matches on DVD!
